O Halloween é mesmo a minha época festiva preferida, logo a seguir ao Natal. A altura de tirar – literalmente – os esqueletos do armário. Ele é espalhar abóboras e teias de aranha, montar um cemitério à porta de casa e ter desculpa para comprar sacos de chocolates, pois os miúdos vêm aos magotes fazer Trick or Treat! A título informativo, este ano comprei três quilos de guloseimas que vão fazer as delícias dos… dentistas aqui da zona.

Para além dos rituais habituais de Halloween, decidimos (ou terei sido eu a decidir?) fazer uma festa dedicada ao Game of Thrones, coisa com sangue e mortes em barda. Toda a gente vestiu um personagem, tivemos um Iron Throne, dragões, espadas, peles e correntes e até conseguimos por os Stark, Targeryen e Lannister todos sentados à mesma mesa sem se degolarem uns aos outros como no red wedding.

Nada foi deixado ao acaso: fatiotas, decoração, iguarias concebidas com detalhe e à pandilha do costume ainda se juntaram alguns convidados vindos da Europa (nossos queridos amigos). Para tornar esta produção irrepreensível tivemos uma sessão fotográfica digna da HBO. Foi épico! Obrigada a todos os que participaram na party. Sabem lá o que eu gosto disto!

Halloween is definitely my favorite holiday season, right after Christmas. The height of taking out – literally – the skeletons of the closet. Time to spreading pumpkins and cobwebs, set up a graveyard at the door of the house and have an excuse to buy bags of chocolates as the kids come to the mounds to do Trick or Treat! For information, this year I bought three kilos of goodies that will delight the … dentists here in the area.

In addition to the usual Halloween rituals, we decided (or did I have to decide?) To have a party dedicated to the Game of Thrones, a thing with blood and lots of deaths. Everyone wore a character, we had an Iron Throne, dragons, swords, furs and chains and even got Stark, Targeryen and Lannister all sitting at the same table without beating each other like the red wedding.

Nothing was left to chance: slicing, decorating, delicacies designed with detail and to the usual crew still gathered some guests from Europe (our dear friends). To make this production irreproachable we had a photographic session worthy of HBO. It was epic! Thank you to everyone who participated in the party. You know how I got thrilled with this stuff
